BKLYN DESIGNS - Sveta Dresher
I know I said I don't like crafty stuff to be mixed with industrial design. But this lady was one of the few, if not the only, home-made designers that I really liked at the BD. And the fact that she is my compatriate has nothing to do with it! Really! Well, she is being compared to contemporary Japanese designers. But there is something dear and nostalgic to me in her bulky babushka's style knits and simple linen clothes.
There is one more thing about Sveta - she makes felt. Is it possible that I've found a soulmate?
